Karing 4 Kidz

My name is Kira Andreucci. For my 11th birthday I asked for money to start Karing 4 Kidz, a project to help less fortunate children with kidpacks containing nonperishable, nutritious food items for the weekend. I made kidpacks for 10 kids to take home on Fridays and delivered them each week with the help of my parents. This is my ninth year with 6 Fitchburg schools and 10 volunteers helping 272 children! I'm a chapter of Blessings in a Backpack a 501c3 nonprofit organization.

I Love the Burg

Karing 4 Kidz will begin its fifth year helping our kids in the Fitchburg Public Elementary Schools. Last year the need was greater than ever before and I'm sure this year will be also. We are in great need so I'm asking for your help. For a $15 donation we can feed 5 kids. But wait there's more, get a free T-shirt that reads, "I ❤ the Burg". We can show our love for our city by showing some pride and also helping our less fortunate kids. Hi Kira- My name is Danielle and this past fall you visited my daughter's school in Groton to talk about your program. She really enjoyed collecting food and making packages to help your organization. I was wondering if there is any way for her to volunteer or help on a regular basis. She is only 4 so I know there isn't so much that she could do but I would love for her to understand how important helping others in need is. Thank you!
