Karing 4 Kidz

My name is Kira Andreucci, for my 11th birthday I asked for money to start Karing 4 Kidz, a project to help food insecure children. I made kidpacks for 10 kids to take home on Fridays and delivered them each week with the help of my parents. This is our 15th year helping 200 children in 4 Fitchburg Elementary Schools and a chapter of Blessings in a Backpack a 501c3. I'm now in college and working in the medical field and proud to say Karing 4 Kids continues its mission.

Food Shopping

I got out my shopping list, we bought cases of Chef Boyardee, Macaroni & Chesee, Soup, and Puddings
buying in bulk and using coupons saved a lot of money.

Meeting

My Dad and I had a meeting with Mr. Hanneken Associate Dean/Principal at Mckay Elementary School.
We talked about the kidpacks being sent home on Fridays with the children who need it most.
