It's That Time Again
The United Way Star Project Competition, First Prize $1000.00!
April 6-12 is National Volunteer Week. For my project I am asking for help with a food drive or any kind of fundraiser. Maybe you are thinking about starting a program in your city or town, well come join us April 9 at 6pm, I would love to meet you. National Volunteer Week began with our President in 1974 to recognize and celebrate the work of volunteers, since then it has expanded to encourage people to seek ways to volunteer in their community. Maybe if we all gave just a little of our time this week the world could be a better place next week....Kira
